The Dress | June 4th

This is my favorite thing about my wedding! My dress was handmade by my beautiful friend Jennifer Worrell.

About four months before I even met Brandon I was looking through a bridal magazine for fun and I stumbled across the image below. I instantly fell in love with that dress, and I knew that was what I would wear when someday God let me marry the man he had for me. :)

My sister had mentioned to me that our friend Jenn makes wedding dresses, so she was one of the first people I contacted after Brandon and I’s engagement. I sent her the inspiration dress picture, and we met up, and she had come will beautiful dress sketches. We talked about what I like about the dress, what shade of white, what kind of train…all the dress questions you can think of!

Some of my favorite details about the dress are the low back and the little sleeves on the shoulder.

Jenn designed such a beautiful dress for me! We had lots of fun shopping for the fabric and doing fittings along the way.

I’m so happy with how my dress turned out! It was perfect and beautiful for my wedding. I love the journey and story behind it. I love that my sweet friend made a big part of my dream come true. Thank you, Jenn!

I love having a wedding dress. I’ve worn it many times since the wedding! I got to do a photoshoot with some of my married friends, and I just recently got my bridals done. Also, sometimes I lay around in it… :)
