Wow! I can’t believe our Anniversary is only three days away now. Time seemed so slow last year…
Today, I thought it’d be fun to share with you about our Wedding Invitations!
So, if you remember my post from early last week about doing my friends wedding invitation and how that was my first print project…well, I lied. I completely forgot that I designed these! Well…Brandon and I designed them.
So here we go…here is the first wedding invite I ever designed!
As much as I loooove the love verse in the Bible I wanted to go for something different. We chose Colossians 2:2 “My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love.” This is such a beautiful verse, and I feel like it simply states the purpose of marriage.
I’m pretty happy with how these turned out. I remember being so excited to send them and then hearing people saying they had received them in the mail. Invites have a way of making a wedding feel so much more real!
We had tri-fold invitations. Most often seen as a “brochure fold”! I haven’t seen many invitations like this, so I like that it’s pretty unique. Also, when you print as a brochure, it is so much cheaper! ;)
So what do you think? Is this something you would do for your wedding invitation?
