Kayli contacted me a few weeks before her wedding to see if I could put together a few designs for her. This was really fun and exciting for me because I had never done an order of ceremony design before.
THEN, her fiance (now husband!) had a cute idea of putting 5 random facts about each of them on the table so their guests would get to know them a little better.
Kayli and Adam’s wedding was in Lubbock (5-6 hours from me!) Thanks to their photographer, he snapped some shots of the designs printed and in action at the wedding.
One of the things I loved about Kayli’s vision for her wedding was her Southern class, so we kept both of the designs very clean and traditional. I enjoyed getting to go through her pictures and seeing her true SOUTHERNNESS come through. This is such a cute couple, y’all! ;)
Congrats to Kayli & Adam on your new adventure! I’m so happy I was able to be a little part of making your special day uniquely yours!

I had the great honor of designing my best friends graduation announcement a few weeks ago. Ashley is a very inspiring person so I knew this was going to be really fun to do. I got to combine her love for bright colors, beautiful calligraphy, Kate Spade, and Anthropologie.
I am so proud of Ashley! Congrats on graduating all by the age of 21. Is that a record? (HA!) So Amazing! I am excited for what the “real world’ has to offer you. You will rock it!!!
I love that I had the opportunity to design one of my newest friends wedding invitations! She was so easy to work with, and our taste in things are very similar, so it just made this even more enjoyable to do for her.
In case you forgot…a few weeks ago I posted an inspiration board for these invites. I am so thankful for Pinterest and that I was able to stalk all things Amber likes! :)
So…here it is!
(Amber is a photographer, and she took the above pictures. Amazing, right?! You can view more of her work and hire her here!)
Amber and Joseph had a one-month engagement, and I love that. But, that also meant this invite was a quick design and turn around to print.
I’d love to hear your thoughts about this design. What do you like? What would you change?
Thanks for checking these out!
&& super BIG THANKS to Amber and Joseph for falling in loooove.
I am so excited to share with you the wedding invite I made today. So…in honor of my excitement I thought I would share the inspiration board for it with you! Yay for weddings, love and making new friends!
Congrats Amber & Joe! They are the lovely couple on the top right. :)
Wow! I can’t believe our Anniversary is only three days away now. Time seemed so slow last year…
Today, I thought it’d be fun to share with you about our Wedding Invitations!
So, if you remember my post from early last week about doing my friends wedding invitation and how that was my first print project…well, I lied. I completely forgot that I designed these! Well…Brandon and I designed them.
So here we go…here is the first wedding invite I ever designed!
As much as I loooove the love verse in the Bible I wanted to go for something different. We chose Colossians 2:2 “My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love.” This is such a beautiful verse, and I feel like it simply states the purpose of marriage.
I’m pretty happy with how these turned out. I remember being so excited to send them and then hearing people saying they had received them in the mail. Invites have a way of making a wedding feel so much more real!
We had tri-fold invitations. Most often seen as a “brochure fold”! I haven’t seen many invitations like this, so I like that it’s pretty unique. Also, when you print as a brochure, it is so much cheaper! ;)
So what do you think? Is this something you would do for your wedding invitation?
This was such a fun project! I had the privilege to design my friends wedding invite a few months ago. I’ve been so excited to do a post about these!
This was my first “print” project. I usually do web design, so this was a new adventure for me. I look forward to learning more about print and design. Designing their invitation was a great stepping stone for me!
It was so fun to receive this invitation in the mail. It made this project so much more real!! :)
I also got to do their Save the Date card. Check it out! (Photography by Jennifer Wilson)
So what do you think?! Let me know what you like, what you would change, what areas could I improve on? I am open to any advice.
Thanks for checking this out and a HUGE thanks to Sasha and Jacob for asking me to do this for you two. It was so fun!
Also, if you are interested in any design work email me and let’s talk!
