The Nail Polish – June 2nd

All right, my friends! We are nine days away! What better way to continue this countdown than to talk about nails. My favorite subject… ;)

The color I wore on my nails was from the 2010 Spring Collection by Essie. It is called “Pop Art Pink.”

I love having bright and unique nails, but when it came to my wedding, I wanted to keep it simple. This pale pink was the perfect color for me. The color was more of a nude than a pink, and that’s why I loved it so much. I had wanted pink nails, but I did not want my nails to distract from anything, especially in pictures.

(All Photography by Scott Cornelius except for the nail polish, thanks, Amazon!)

Another bonus is that Essie makes great, long-lasting nail polish. This manicure lasted my entire honeymoon!

So what do you think? Would you wear this color or would you go for something bolder? If you’re married (or planning a wedding), how did you have your nails done?
