Last summer I had the privilege of doing a photo shoot with the AMAZING Jenni Hulet (from The Urban Poser) for the marshmallow chapter in her new paleo cookbook, My Paleo Patisserie. Jenni is an amazing cook/baker/creative, and as if that’s not enough, she’s also an amazing wife and mother!
Here’s an “outtake” from the book! We had fun playing around with some Instax shots.
I have to end this post with an additional teaser sharing 2 of my favorite photos from the book! Not only is Jenni brilliant when it comes to all things yummy and paleo, but she is also an INCREDIBLE photographer! She has an amazing eye, and the book is full of beautiful photos like the ones below. :)
I feel so honored to have my photography among Jenni and Ashleigh’s. Even if you’re not a baker you’ll want this book just for the beautiful photography and coffee table
When Brandon and I were preparing for our New York trip, I knew I wanted to plan a photoshoot while we were there that just captured us taking in and loving the City and each other. We were lucky enough to book Sara Kerens, an incredible fashion photographer! You can check out more of her work HERE.
I don’t think we are Sara’s typical clients (you know…models!!) and I just still can’t even handle that she took our photos. (!!!!!) I love how classic they turned out! I also love thinking about our children looking back at these photos one day. :)
I will forever cherish these photos. This was the trip that made us fall in love with the Big Apple.
I can’t think of a better way to end a blog break (hi/sorry/missed yall!!!) than with a GIVEAWAY! :)
My friend, Melissa Aulds (pictured below), just launched a new website for her STUNNING jewelry line, Luxe in the Rough. Luxe in the Rough Jewelry is an independent jewelry line designed and handcrafted by Melissa using gemstones, 14k Gold fill, feathers, artisan leather, czech glass and vintage finds. I’ve been crushing on her jewelry for a while now and I could not be more excited for her.

On my recent trip to LA I was able to visit the famous Paul Smith wall. I knew my soon to be momma friend was finding out the gender of her baby right before our trip so I was eager to find out if it was a boy or a girl. :)
And…well in case you couldn’t tell…IT’S A GIRL!!! I am so excited to meet miss Sophia Grace Zoucha! I loved taking these celebratory photos of Lauren! Enjoy!
I recently got to travel to Nashville and while I was there I was able to meet up with Jillian Edwards to take some photos. About a month ago I did a photo shoot with her twin brother, Cole, and his wife, Caitlin. (Shoutout to Caitlin for the introducing Jillian and I so we could meet up and take photos!!) I knew I wanted to do a photo shoot while I was in the Nashville area to capture the beauty Tennessee has to offer and Jillian was the perfect model!
Jillian is an incredibly talented singer/songwriter based out of Nashville. From the moment I met her I could tell she is just as sweet as her music! I got to listen to her newest album (Daydream) while editing her photos which made the editing process all the more fun. :)
Be sure to check out Jillian’s music and follow her on twitter, instagram, and facebook!
PS – I want to thank Amy Nicole Photography (an amazing Nashville photographer) for suggesting this beautiful Franklin location! It was absolutely perfect!
Today I would like to introduce you to two of my co-workers, Lee Ann and Bryan, or as I like to call them, Brylee. This last Friday Bryan got down on one knee and asked Lee Ann to be his wife. (AHHHH!!)
I am beyond happy for this couple!!! A week ago today everyone (except Lee Ann, of course!) at the office received an email from Bryan filling us in on his sweet plans. I couldn’t even finish reading the first paragraph due to my excitement. Basically, since their relationship started at the office he wanted to ask her to take the next step at the office. Cue. Tears.
It’s been such an honor to be able to watch their relationship blossom over this past year. He’s tall. She’s short. He’s quiet. She’s the bubbliest person you’ll ever meet. I love how they truly bring out the best in each other. Excuse the cheesiness in me but … they complete each other!!!
Having had a few days in advance I knew I wanted to take some photos of their proposal so I just HAVE to share them with you. &&& you better believe I brought the instax camera to get that special moment on film.
